Crowe Park reopens with new playground

The town of Forest City has officially opened a new playground at Crowe Park that includes a climbing wall, rope climbs, slides and xylophones. The new playground replaces the former equipment, which was originally installed in 1988. The town of Forest City’s Public Works Department completed the demolition and grading, the Parks and Recreation Maintenance Crew designed and installed the landscaping, while town staff was able to keep the completed project under budget. The playground is located at 267 Crowe Park Drive and is adjacent to several picnic shelters that are available for rent. For more information, call 828-248-5220 or visit townof forestcity.com.
