Borders, Corder earn Gridiron Greats award

After propelling Thomas Jefferson to a 21-13 win on the road over Rosman and a 2-0 record, wide receiver Efrim Borders was awarded the Gridiron Greats Player of the Week Award by Edward Jones and The Daily Courier.

Borders carried the ball 13 times for 45 yards and two touchdowns in last Friday’s win over Rosman and hauled in three passes for another 63 yards.

Offensive lineman Brooks Corder was named the Lineman of the Week.
