Little League results for Monday April 15, 2013:

Chase 7/8 Softball:

64 Tractor defeated Forest City Fish Camp 3-0. 

Christian Beaver went 2 -2. Tractor 64’s Landon Harris, Lillie Beheler and Maeli Crain each had an RBI.

Forest City 7/8 Girls Softball:

Sisk Family Ford defeated Kiwanis 8-3.

Kayla Gladney got the game ball for Kiwanis.

Chase Boys Baseball:

Woodmen of the World defeated A&W Sandblasting 17-1.

Austin Cash was the winning pitcher.

Therapy Plus defeated Wells Jenkins 7-5.

Wells Jenkins' Cody Wells had two RBIs and Zach Davis went 2-2 with two doubles.

FCLL 7/8 Boys Pitching Machine: 

Collins Metal 12, American Legion 4

Game ball went to Tanner Herndon for American Legion and Avery Russell for Collins Metal

FCLL 9/10 Boys Baseball 

Kiwanis 7 vs Settlemyre 4 

Chase T-ball game:

The Matthew Pannell Shining Star Foundation vs. UltraCoat

game ball went to the volunteer coaches for getting this Little Leaguers ready for the first game of the baseball careers.

FCLL T-Ball games:    

Ohmstead Plumbing vs Little Red School   

Game ball when to Gabby Turrubiarte for Ohmstead Plumbing and Christian Millwood for Little Red School.

Ellenboro Save Mart vs Pizza Hut    


Game ball when to Byson Brewer for Ellenboro Save Mart and Elijah Beauford for Pizza Hut.

Little League results for Tuesday April 16, 2013:

Chase Little League

Linder Park (Harris)

9/10 Softball:

In a high scoring affair Precision Flooring defeated Creative Gift Packaging by a score of 12-10. Shae Skipper was the winning pitcher for Precision Flooring.

11/12 Softball:

Britnney Bomer pictched five complete innings to lead BC Spa past HST, Inc 8-5. She recorded six strikeouts in the win. 

Talayla Forney provided an offensive spark for BC Spa going 3-3 from the plate.

Frank Holtzclaw Park (Cliffside):

7/8 Baseball:

Jacob Roach’s single drove in AJ Greene for the game-winning run as Rogers Group downed Quadcore 5-4. 

Jackson Gowan and Dylan Hardin both had good days at the plate going 2-2.

9/10 Baseball:

QPC dominated Well Jenkins 20-3 on Tuesday night. 

Seth Webb was the winning pitcher for QPC. He also recorded two hits during the game. 

Riley Stanley matched this feat with two hits of his own.

11/12 Baseball:

Tyler Pinkerton got the win for South Shore Aviation as they defeated Well Jenkins 3-1. Pinkerton notched 10 strikeouts. 

Offense was provided by Heath Waldrop’s 2-2 night and two runs scored.

Weston Harrill who was 1-2 with one run scored and one RBI.

Forest City Little League Action

Western Southern vs Burger King

Ranger Freeman was awarded the game ball for Western Southern for his outstanding game.

Hayden Brown got the game ball for Burger King for key defensive plays.

7/8 Pitching Machine Baseball:

The bats of Pool Supplies proved to be too much as they wore down Timken 10-5 as eight hitters went 2-2 in the game. 

Timken's Coleman Tisdale had a solo home run and Elliott Tisdale had a double with two RBIs.

The play of the game however, went to the defense as Pool Supplies' Mason Huffstickler made a diving catch for the final out of the game.

9/12 Softball:

Abercrombie’s Hannah Ovin pitched threw a 6-0 shutout against Fountain Electric Tuesday. Samantha Craft began the scoring with a first inning home run.

Moose Vending's Brie Moose was 2 for 2 and drove in 2 runs with a double to left field as they defeated Bojangles 4-1.

Christian Cooper scored the only run for Bojangles.

11/12 Baseball:

Alliance's Garrett Byers helped his team to a 6-5 victory over Hardin Drugs with two hits and the game-winning RBI.

The play of the game came when Hardin Drug's Jacob Champion triggered a 6-2-4 double play in the second inning.

Rutherford Little League


Barley's vs. Kiwanis

Game ball for Barley's team went to Angel Randon while the game ball for Kiwanis team went to Lucas Mitchell.

9-10 Softball:

Mosely & Meeks pitcher Farryn Smith’s six strikeouts helped lead her team past Robins Repairable 10-9. 

Smith also slapped a triple in the third inning and stole home to help the scoring cause. 

Mosely and Meeks’ Ella Parton’s had an RBI single that scored Tia Houser to keep the game close.
