Local Little League results, May 7

Bojangles defeated Fountain Electric 13-6.

Bojangles Abbey Ranta was the winning pitcher.  She also contributed two hits. Christian Cooper and Maddie Walke all had RBIs on the night.


Little Red School vs Ohmstead Plumbing

The game ball went to Sixx Brown for Ohmstead Plumbing for his solid defense.

For Little Red School the game ball went to Landon Joyce for an outstanding all-around game.

Burger King vs Ellenboro Sav Mart

Nicholas Kennedy had a great game at the plate and recieved the game ball for Burger King.

Gary Blankenship sparked the offense for Ellenboro Sav Mart to earn the game ball.

KFC vs Kiwanis

Kaylee Pentergraph earned the game ball for Kiwanis for her great fielding and hitting.

Byren McSwain’s stellar performance from the plate and defensive effort earned him the game ball for KFC.

7/8 Baseball

American Legion defeated Ed's Pallet World 13-4.

Noah Cudd and Brandt Herndon led the offense for American Legion. Cudd had a double to second base while Herndon added a single to third base.

Davis Melton and McKenzie Mode both had a good night behind the plate for Ed's Pallet World. Noah Russ and Joseph Glenn pitched in as well with back-to-back home runs in the fourth inning.

Collins Metal defeated Pool Supply 18-13.

Chase Powell went 3-for-3 at bat for Pool Supply while Braeden Crawford had two solid defensive plays in center field while going 2-for-3 from the plate for Collins Metal.

9/10 Baseball

Therapy Plus Defeated Settlemyre Landscaping 8-4.

Therapy Plus' Nick Bray had a leadoff single and David Conner reached first base as well to start the sixth inning. Walker Waters' homerun brought them both across the plate for a three-run inning.

Settlermyre Landscaping's Blake Jones turned a double play after catching a line drive and throwing it to Jesus Allamen at second to tag the runner.


Barley's vs. Kiwanis 

Barley's player Alton Freeman received game ball. 

Sisk Family Ford vs. Acadia Northstar 

Sisk Family Fords player Callie Cobb received the game ball. 

11/12 Baseball

Moose Vending defeated H&R Landscaping 11-0. 

Moose Vending’s Traad Richardson was the winning pitcher. He also helped the effort going 2-for-3 from the plate.

Andrei Haynes had three RBIs while Nick Owenby added two hits. 

Linder Park (Harris)


The Matthew Pannell Shining Star Foundation vs. Cole's Carpet. 

Darin Tipton had a good night at the plate, going 3-for-3 and receiving the game ball. 

Sara Rothrock was player of the game for Cole's Carpet.  She was 2-for-2 at the plate and made several great defensive plays including a catch at third with a perfect throw to first base for the out.

Cliffside Park

7/8 Baseball

C & M Bail Bonds fell to Roger's Group 8-1. 

Nathan Hoyle led Roger's Group with two hits. 

Ben Blanton for C&M Bail Bonds had a hit and an RBI. 

For C&M Bail Bonds, Hunter Brown, had a great defensive night with several key plays for his team.

9/10 Baseball

QPC defeated the Red Socks with a final score of 14-3.  Seth Webb was the winning pitcher for QPC.  Bryce Thompson had a great night for QPC with head's up base running.
