Raasch named Owl of the Week

As the season winds down, Owls coach J. T. Maguire nominated hurler Christian Raasch for “Owl of the Week” this week. Raasch, a 6-foot-2-inch, 185 pound right-hander from Norcross, Georgia has asserted himself as the iron man of the Forest City rotation.

Owls lose heartbreaker in extras

Owls rally falls short

Forest City owned the lead at first, but Gastonia completely took over in the third inning and posted a 10-8 defeat of the Owls Wednesday night at McNair Field.
