William Anthony Singleton
William Anthony Singleton (Pop), age 50, of Bronx, New York, life came to a close on Saturday, March 9, 2013, at Sung Upstate Medical Hospital Syracuse, NY. 
Anthony was a loving son, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and nephew. He lived his life trying to make everyone happy.
He was preceded in death by his father, William Singleton and brother, Raymond Singleton. He leaves to cherish his memories one daughter, Taniq Ennett of Bronx, NY.; one very special granddaughter, Tori Alexander of Bronx, NY.; six sisters, Ruthie Golden of Charleston, SC, Margaret Murray of Rutherfordton, NC, Juanita Anderson of Forest City, NC, Shelia Singleton of Rutherfordton, NC, Audrey Allison of Spartanburg, SC, and Valerie Singleton of Spindale, NC; one brother, Jerome Singleton of Rutherfordton, NC; God sister, Naomi Jones of Bronx, NY; a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends and an extended loving family from New York. 
Services will be Saturday, March 16 at 1 p.m. at Gold Hill Baptist Church in Rutherfordton. 
Thompson Mortuary is assisting the family.
Tim White
Timothy  Albert "Tim" White, age 71, of Birch Hutchins Road, Forest City, died, Tuesday, March 12, 2013, at his residence. 
A native of Rutherford County, he was a son of the late John C. White and Pauline Cochran White. Tim was a retired employee of Torrington Corporation, and a member of the Florence Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his brother, David White and sister, June White Humphries.
Survivors include his son, Gregg White and his wife, Cindy of Forest City; a brother, Phillip White and his wife, Alpha of Cliffside; and two granddaughters, Ashley White and, Carole White, both of Ellenboro.
The funeral will be held at eleven o'clock Saturday, March 16, 2013, in The Padgett and King Chapel, with the Reverend Dr. Bobby Gantt officiating. Interment will follow in the Corinth Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from ten until eleven o'clock prior to the service at the mortuary.

Bobby Joe Henson
MOORESBORO, NC — Bobby Joe Henson, of 219 Matheny Road, went home to be with the Lord, Thursday, March 14, 2013.
Born June 29, 1940, in Cherokee County, SC, he was a son of the late Buford Henson and Ruby Geneve Hames Henson and was a member of Hicks Grove Baptist Church.
Surviving are his girlfriend of 19 years, Barbara Thrift of Mayo; brothers, Dewitt Henson of Chesnee, Eugene Henson and Clyde Henson, both of Mooresboro; sisters, Barbara Gardner and Betty Waters, both of Mooresboro and Vickie McKinney of Forest City.
In addition to his parents he was predeceased by a brother Rondle Henson.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Friday, March 15, 2013, at Eggers Funeral Home of Chesnee. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m., Saturday, March 16, 2013, at Hicks Grove Baptist Church. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.

Kristie Evans Bibler
Kristie Evans Bibler, age 41, of Rutherfordton, NC, died Thursday, March 14, 2013, at the Hospice House of Rutherford County.  
A native of Rutherford County, she was the daughter of Wayne and Rhonda Evans of Rutherfordton. Kristie was a member of The Gilkey Church of God and worked at Rutherford
Regional Medical Center. 
In addition to her parents she is survived by one son, Eric Mason Bibler of the home; step-daughter, Ashley Bibler Seymour of Greer SC; one brother, Brian Evans and wife, Lori of Mooresboro; nephews, Robbie and Garrett Evans.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, March 15, 2013, at McMahan's Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at Gilkey Church of God at 2 p.m., Saturday, March 16, 2013, with Rev. Michael Stephens and Rev. Kenneth Lytle officiating. Burial will follow in the
church cemetery.

Betty Foy Cloninger
Betty Foy Cloninger, 83, of Forest City, passed away on March 13, 2013, at the Hospice House of Rutherford County.
She was born August 17, 1929, in Gaston County, a daughter of the late Livie Foy and Willie Hanna Foy. Mrs. Cloninger was a member of Pisgah ARP Church, Gastonia.
A graveside service will be held 2 p.m. on Sunday at Pisgah ARP Church Cemetery, Gastonia, officiated by Rev. Rick Lewis. The family will meet at Greene Funeral Service, West Chapel, 216 Archie Whitesides Rd., from 1:30 to 1:45 p.m. to go in procession to the cemetery.
Mrs. Cloninger is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Larry L. Cloninger; son, George "Lin " Cloninger and wife, Cindy; brothers, L. Don Foy and wife, Nell, Harvey Lee Foy and wife, Betty; sisters, Helen Littlejohn and husband Richard, Dot Clark and husband, Pete, Patricia Carver and husband, Vernon; grandson, Jason Silvey and wife, Anne Marie; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sisters, Polly Weathers and Mary Frances Foy.
