Timothy A. White
FOREST CITY — Timothy A. White, age 71, of died Tuesday, March 12, 2013. Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced by the Padgett and King Mortuary.
 
William Singleton
BRONX, NY – William Anthony Singleton, age 50, died Saturday, March 9, 2013. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at Gold Hill Baptist Church. The body will lie in state one hour prior to the service. Thompson's Mortuary and Chapel, Inc. is serving the family.
 
David Bryce Clemmer
David Bryce Clemmer, age 53, of East  Main Street, Forest City, died Monday, March 11, 2013.  
He was born February 21, 1960, in Gaston County to Mary Ann S. Clemmer of Gastonia, NC and the late Daniel Brice Clemmer. He was a mechanical engineer receiving his degree from Western Carolina University. A faithful member of Florence Baptist Church, he was a member of the Choir and was involved in various church activities. Bryce enjoyed working with Habitat for Humanity and had a passion for Border Collies including his beloved dogs, Sky, Murphy, and Ann. 
Bryce was preceded in death by his wife, Denise Blanton Clemmer in 2011.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by brothers, Marvin S. Clemmer and wife, Mary of Jamesville, NY and Stanhope Lee Clemmer and wife, Kristi of Gastonia; an aunt, Frances Rayfield; as well as his beloved nieces and nephew, Rachel S. Mackessey-Lloyd and husband, Trevor, and their children, Noah and Claire, Kathryn E. Clemmer, Daniel J. Clemmer, Jeanne M. Clemmer, Faith Ann Clemmer, Maria Rimer and Kaitlyn Washington; along with numerous cousins.
Funeral services will be held at two o'clock Friday, March 15, 2013, in the Florence Baptist Church with Reverend Dr. Bobby Gantt officiating. A graveside service will follow at 4:15 p.m. in the Pisgah ARP Cemetery on Linwood Road, Gastonia with Reverend Richard Lewis, Jr. officiating. Visitation will be from 7 until 8:30 Thursday evening in The Chapel of Padgett and King Mortuary. The family will also have a time of visitation following the graveside service at Pisgah ARP Church.

Edna Estelle Greene
ELLENBORO, NC — Edna Estelle Greene, 96, of Ellenboro, passed away Monday, March 12, 2013, at Fairhaven Nursing Home in Bostic. 
A native of Rutherford County, she was born on April 26, 1916, to the late Minor Lovelace and Mary Lovelace. She was a seamstress and was a member of Walls Baptist Church is Bostic, North Carolina.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, G.M. Greene; one daughter, Helen Burger; and one sister, Ruth Jones. 
Ms. Greene is survived by her son, Gerald Greene and wife Pat of Knoxville Tennessee; and by her daughter, Mary Jo Whisnant of Ellenboro. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and 11 great-great grandchildren.
A funeral service celebrating the life of Ms. Greene will be held at Walls Baptist Church in Bostic at 3 p.m. on Friday, March 15, 2013, with the Rev. David Philbeck and Rev. Robert Toney officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Billy Ray Morrison Sr.
Billy Ray Morrison Sr, age 66, of Lake Lure, died Wednesday, March 13, 2013, at Hospice House. 
A native of Cleveland County, he was the son of the late Pete Morrison and Gladys Deskin McEntyre. Billy was a repair service owner/operator and a US Navy veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Judy Hipps Morrison of the home; sons, Billy Morrison Jr of Lake Lure, Pete Calloway Morrison of Asheville and Eddie Morrison of Union Mills; sister, Dianne Gantt of Shelby; brothers, Larry Morrison of Marion, Dean Morrison of Bostic, and Wayne Morrison of Union Mills; nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren. 
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Shirley Dixon.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m., March 15, at Crowe’s Mortuary with Rev. Wayne Stafford and Don McEntire officiating. Interment will follow at Cedar Creek Holiness Church cemetery with military honors accorded by the Rutherford County Honor Guard. The family will receive friends Thursday, March 14 from 6 until 8 p.m., at Crowe’s Mortuary.
