Perry G. Bridwell  
GREER, SC — Perry George Bridwell, 96, of 201 Ridgewood Drive, Greer, S.C., died April 4, 2013, at National Health Care.
A native of Travelers Rest, son of the late George Washington and Annie Campbell Bridwell, he was a sergeant with  U.S. Air Corp, a retired employee of Dobson Hardware after 42 years, and a former Greer City Councilman.
Surviving are his wife, Marie Dempsey Bridwell of the home; two daughters and sons-in-law, Brenda and Billy Vaughn of Rutherfordton, North Carolina and Sandra and Don Dillard of Greer, SC; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by eight sisters and three brothers.
Funeral services will be held 3 p.m. Sunday at Victor Baptist Church, conducted by Rev. Ken Vickery and Rev. Billy E. Vaughn. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memory Gardens. Visitation will be held 2 until 3 p.m., Sunday at the church prior to the service. The pallbearers will be the grandsons and great-grandsons.

Robert David Johnson
Robert David Johnson, age 77, of Rutherfordton, NC, died Thursday, April 4, 2013, at his home after a long illness.
He was son of the late Robert C. Johnson & Vivian Crossland Johnson. Robert was a native of Columbia, South Carolina. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church of Forest City. He was a U S Navy veteran of the Vietnam War and served for 23 years in the Navy. 
He was preceded in death by a sister, Dot Baldwin and a brother, Tony Johnson.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce Coker Johnson; two sons, Bob Johnson of Prosperity, SC and James Johnson of Charleston, SC; one step-daughter, Kristina Towery of Rutherfordton; two sisters, Veronica Sharp of Columbia, SC and Janet Brown of Lugoff, SC; three grandchildren, four great grandchildren and three step-grandchildren.
At Robert's request, no services are to be held. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Davita Dialysis, 226 Commercial Street, Forest City, NC 28043.

Earline Louise O’Brien
Earline Louise O’Brien, age 98, of Rutherfordton, died Thursday, April 4, 2013, at Oak Grove Health Care Center.
A native of Boston, MA, she was the daughter of the late Earl and Elizabeth Lavangie Bouchie. She was a home maker.
She is survived by her daughter, Pat Carter of Rutherfordton; sons, Terrance O’Brien of Tacoma, WA and Paul O’Brien of Sugarmill Woods, FL; four grandchildren, Chip Carter, Bevin O’Brien, Elizabeth Bonthron, and Scott O'Brien; and three great grandchildren Jacob Yant, Zachary Carter, and Christopher O'Brien.
Services will be held at a later date.
