Julianne Gray Sibley
SPINDALE — Julianne Gray Sibley, 72, died Thursday, November 22, 2012. Asheville Mortuary Services is in charge of the arrangements.
 
Rachel Powell
Rachel Powell, 71, of Bostic, died November 29, 2012. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association. No services are scheduled. 
 
Betty Price
Betty Hamrick Price, 87, died  Thanksgiving Day, November 22, 2012 in Charlotte.  A celebration of life will be held Tuesday Dec.11 at 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church, 99 Main Street, Marion,with visitation immediately following the service. Burial at WNC Veterans Cemetery will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care, Charlotte Region, 1420 E.7th Street Charlotte, NC 28204. 
 
Rev. William Franklin Bowen, Jr.
Rev. William Franklin Bowen, Jr., 90, of Morganton NC passed away Thursday, November 29, 2012, at Grace Hospital.  
Rev. Bowen was a retired Baptist minister, a veteran,  having served in WWII and a member of Camp Creek Baptist Church. He was born in Perthamboy, NJ to the late William Franklin Bowen, Sr. and Elzora Hodge Bowen.  
He was also preceded in death by his wife Ruby Bowen and daughter Vicki Owens.
Left to cherish his memory are his sisters; Catherine Moss of Blacksburg, SC, Lillian Fritts of Lexington, NC, and Mazie Wooten of Wilmington, NC, his son-in-law Charlie Owens of the Camp Creek Community, three grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., Tuesday, December 4, 2012, at Camp Creek Baptist Church with the Revs. Tony McCraw and Darold Crawford officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior the service.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made the Camp Creek Baptist Church Building Fund.

Frank Chandler
Frank Chandler, age 77, of Macon, GA, died Thursday, November 29, 2012, at Coliseum Hospital in Macon, GA.
He was the son of the late Leonard Chandler and a native of Rutherford County. Frank was a member of Gilkey United Methodist Church. He was a retired Lt. Col. with the Air Force Reserves. 
Frank was the widower of the late Shirley C. Chandler. He was also preceded in death by a son, Richard S. Garrett. 
Survivors include one daughter, Susan C. Shelton; one son, Edwin W. Chandler; his mother, Mae Chandler Kendrick; two grandchildren, Daniel L. Shelton and Robin W. Shelton; five great-grandchildren; two step-sisters, Miriam Cantrell and Mona Beheeler; two step-brothers, David Kendrick and Samuel Kendrick, Sr.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, December 3, at McMahan's Funeral Home. The Graveside service will be at Gilkey United Methodist Church Cemetery at 10 a.m., Tuesday, December 4, with Rev. Allen Marsh officiating.
