RALEIGH — Joyce Elizabeth White Oakes Williams, age 81, died Tuesday, September 24, 2013. The funeral will be Saturday at Mount Vernon Baptist Church, 7600 Falls of Neuse Road in Raleigh at noon. Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Brier Creek Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Mount Vernon Baptist Church, 7600 Falls of Neuse Road, Raleigh, NC 27615. Rev. Rick Waters
Reverend Rick Waters, age 52, of Rutherfordton, NC, died Wednesday, September 25, 2013, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.
Rick was born September 10, 1961, in Rutherford County, NC, to the late Lewis Waters and Elizabeth Greene Waters. He owned and operated Home Solutions a home improvement business and worked for the Magnolia House. His passion was preaching the Word of God and doing God’s Work. He was an ordained minister and a faithful member of Spindale Fellowship Holiness. Rick taught the adult Sunday school class and worked with the youth at the church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Ronald Waters and Joe Waters.
Survivors include his loving wife of 26 years, Cathy Waters; son, Paul Waters of Rutherfordton; four brothers, Carl Waters and wife, Diane of Spindale, Jimmy Waters of Ruth, Wade Waters and wife, Ann of Spindale and Troy Waters of Forest City; four sisters, Jeannette Beck of Forest City, Mary Conner and husband, Robbie of Ruth, Lisa Goode of Forest City and Donna Hardin and husband, Curtis of Rutherfordton. He is also survived by 25 nieces and nephews and 25 great nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Sunday, September 29, 2013, at the Spindale Fellowship Holiness Church with Reverend Leon Brown and Reverend Bobby Brown officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 until 9 p.m. on Saturday at the church.
Memorial donations are suggested to Harrelson Funeral Home, 1251 US Highway 221A, Forest City, NC 28043 to help defray funeral costs.

Sandra Dedmon Yarbrough, 58, of Iroquois Trail, died Thursday, September 26, 2013, from injuries that occurred in a motorcycle accident.
The funeral will be 4:30 p.m. Monday, September 30, 2013, at First Baptist Church of Welcome, with the Revs. Mark Blair and Jonathon Goodman officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Davidson Funeral Home and other times at the home.
Mrs. Yarbrough was born July 18, 1955, in Rutherford County, to Clyde Rufus Dedmon and Sadie Putman Dedmon. She was owner of MTO INC. She was a loving wife, mother, sister and YaYa to Emma Marie.
Her parents preceded her in death.
Surviving are husband, Michael Steven Yarbrough of the home; son, Michael Trent Yarbrough of Forest City; daughter, Haley Szymonski and husband, Steve of Charlotte; granddaughter, Emma Marie Szymonski; brother, Jerry Dedmon and wife, Paulette of Forest City; sisters, Linda Ravan and husband, Spud of Forest City and Donna Donigan and husband, Ron of Flat Rock; nieces, Tracy, Tammy, Tonya, Neeley, Avery; and nephew Brent.

Michael Davis Isenhour
BOSTIC, NC — Michael Davis Isenhour, 62, of Bostic, N.C., passed away Thursday, September 26, 2013, at Frye Regional Medical Center in Hickory after a sudden illness.
Mr. Isenhour was born July 19, 1951, in Catawba County to Doris Yount Isenhour of Hickory and the late Solomon Augustus Isenhour.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by Stephen A. Isenhour.
He was a member of Cornerstone Fellowship Church and the owner/operator of a gun shop. His legacy was his children. Michael’s first love was his faith. He absolutely adored his family; his children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews and was happiest when he was spending time with them.
His hobbies were hunting, fishing, camping, and boating. He loved anything outdoors, as long as he was accompanied by his family. Michael was a very generous and loving person, always willing to help anyone in need.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia G. Isenhour of the home; two sons: Michael D. Isenhour, II and wife, Heather of Hickory, Todd Calton of Charlotte, NC; two daughters: Twanissa Calton Morgan and husband, Mark of Bostic, NC, Tassie Calton of Bostic, NC; brother, Rusty Isenhour and wife, Sara of Hickory, NC; grandchildren: Devan Isenhour, Carter Isenhour, Abbigail Isenhour, Carolyn Isenhour, Maci Isenhour, all of Hickory, Grace Morgan, Anna Rose Morgan, Madison Grace Calton, all of Bostic, NC; four nephews, Drew Isenhour, Matt Isenhour, John Isenhour and Andrew Isenhour, all of Hickory, NC; and two great-nephews, Brandon Conner and David Conner, both of Bostic, NC.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, September 29, 2013, at Cornerstone Fellowship Church in Forest City, NC with the Rev. Mike Snelgrove officiating. Inurnment will be held in Oakwood Cemetery at a later date.
The family will receive friends following the service at the church.

Charles Madison Walker
FOREST CITY — Mr. Charles M. Walker, 84, passed away at Rutherford Regional Medical Center on Monday, September 16, 2013.
He was born on April 17, 1929, in Forest City to Joseph and Mary Walker. Charles was the last of eight children.
He was preceded in death by sisters, Margaret, Ruth, Cordia, Darthy (Dot) and brothers, Norman, Howard, and Joseph (JT).
He is survived by his wife, Jane and four children, Keith, Debra and her husband, Francis, Elizabeth, and Kevin; two grandchildren, Michelle and Gina.
A private service will be held by the family at a later date.
The Walker family is being served by Padgett and King Mortuary.
