Soloman McNeil
Soloman McNeil, age 83, of Spindale, died Saturday, May 11, 2013. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Kingdom Hall in Forest City. The body will lie in state one hour prior to the service. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 6 until 8 p.m. at Ulysses /d. Miller funeral services. Interment will be in eternal Hill Memorial Cemetery. Ulysses D. Miller Funeral Services is in charge of arrangements.

SHELBY - Elizabeth “Lib” Greene Jones, 79, died on Saturday, May 11, 2013.  
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, at the A.C. McKinney Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow at Cleveland Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 1 until 2:15 p.m. on Thursday, and at other times at the home. Memorial donations are suggested to Waco Baptist Church, 262 N. Main Street, Waco, NC 28169. RUTHERFORDTON — Rachel W. Rumfelt, age 85, died Sunday, May 12, 2013. A graveside service will be at Pisgah United Methodist Church Cemetery at 3 p.m., Tuesday, May 14, 2013. McMahan's Funeral Home & Cremation Services is in

Charles L. Stutzman
Charles L. Stutzman, 64, of Rutherfordton, died May 10, 2013, at Hospice House, Forest City.  
He passed peacefully, comforted by his family and devoted friends.
Charles retired to the Rutherfordton area after a 20-year career in the Air Force, and was a well-respected retired instructor at Isothermal Community College.  
A loving father and grandfather, he is survived by his wife, children, and grandchildren.
In accordance with his wishes, there will be no public viewing or funeral services. Condolences may be given at www.crowemortuary.com.
 
Elizabeth “Lib” Greene Jones
SHELBY - Elizabeth “Lib” Greene Jones, 79, of Hardin Drive, Shelby, died on Saturday, May 11, 2013, at Hospice of Cleveland County at Wendover. 
A native of Rutherford County, she was born on November 05, 1933, a daughter of the late Joseph Guy and Zennie Mae Melton Greene. Lib was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother whose greatest joy was living for her family.  She was a member of Waco Baptist Church and a past Auxiliary Commander of DAVA Unit 18, Shelby.
She is survived by her husband, Gerald Jones; one son, Andy Jones and wife, Jill of Weaverville; one daughter, Vickie Jones Murray and husband, Alan of Waco; one brother, Joe Greene and wife, Mary Frances of Matthews, NC; one sister, Hazel Greene Bridges and husband, Dr. Worth Bridges, Jr., of Tifton, GA; two sisters-in-law, Dorothy Jones Helton of Ellenboro and Sallie Jones of Shelby; her grandchildren, Michelle Murray, Ashley Jones, Tiffany Jones and Alex Murray.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 16, 2013, at the A.C. McKinney Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Dr. Harold Fite and the Rev. Dwight Cooper officiating. Burial will follow at Cleveland Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 1 until 2:15 p.m. on Thursday, May 16, 2013, and at other times at the home.
Memorial donations are suggested to Waco Baptist Church, 262 N. Main Street, Waco, NC 28169 or Hospice of Cleveland County, 951 Wendover Heights Drive, Shelby, NC 28150.

Daniel R. Dalton
Mr. Daniel R. Dalton, 77, US Hwy 64 Rutherfordton, died Monday, May 13, 2013 at Rutherford Regional Medical Center. 
Daniel was the son of the late Sam and Maudie Painter Dalton, and was also preceded in death by a daughter, Patricia England; a sister, Granada Dalton, and three brothers, Arwine O. Dalton, Adrian Dalton, and Purnell Dalton. He was a member of Fork Creek Baptist Church and was retired from Drexel Heritage. 
He is survived by his wife, Rebecca Dalton; his daughter, Wanda Owens and her husband Julius, of Rutherfordton; two stepsons, Steve James of Ellenboro, and Joey James of Franklin, WV; three brothers, Burin Dalton of Rutherfordton, Denton Dalton of Forest City, and O'Neill Dalton of Morganton; there are two grandsons, Michael Owens and his wife Candy, of Rutherfordton, and Josh Owens and his wife Jennifer, of Bostic; there are four great grandchildren, Chris Owens, Adam Owens, Jacob Owens, and Taylor Lawing. 
The Funeral will be held at 3:00 pm Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at Fork Creek Baptist Church. Rev. Billy Cogdell and Rev. Troy Dorsey will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. 
The Visitation will be held from 1:30 pm until 2:45 pm Wednesday at the church prior to the service.
