Indictments returned by grand jury

RUTHERFORDTON — When the Rutherford County Grand Jury met last month, true bills of indictments were returned on the following people, reported the clerk's office.

Kenneth Douglas Allen, was indicted on charges of first degree rape of a child, sex offense with a child, first degree sex offense, three counts indecent liberties with child, three counts of crime against nature and four counts statutory rape. The Rutherford County Sheriff's Department is investigating the cases.

Marc Alfred Braun, larceny, obtaining property by false pretense; sheriff's department case.

James Michael Camp, possession marijuana, possession firearm by felon, possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana, maintain place for controlled substance, possession drug paraphernalia; sheriff's department.

James Allen Carr, attempted breaking, entering building, larceny, attempted larceny, possession stolen goods; sheriff's department.

Timothy Dewayne Cole, conspiracy to commit felony, larceny, possession stolen goods; sheriff's department.

Charles Ray Collins, obtaining property by false pretense, larceny; Forest City Police Dept.

Carroll Bernard Cooks, possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana, maintaining a place for controlled substance, possession drug paraphernalia; sheriff's department.

James Harris Dobbins, manufacture meth, obtaining property by false pretense; sheriff's department.

Tracy Fish, traffic opium or heroin; sheriff's department case.

Raheen Laquest Hampton, breaking, entering, larceny, larceny of dog, possession marijuana, possession drug paraphernalia; Spindale Police Department and sheriff's department.

Vincent Gerard Hines possession with intent to sell and deliver cocaine, possession cocaine, possession marijuana, possession drug paraphernalia; sheriff's department. 

Patrick Kelley, larceny, obtaining property by false pretense;  sheriff's department. 

Lucy Atchley Kiser, felony conversion, Rutherfordton Police Department.

Marque Phillips, obtaining property by false pretense; two counts breaking, entering and larceny; sheriff's department.

Victor Antonio Jim Rodriguez, identity theft; North Carolina Department Motor Vehicles.

Stephanie Toney, obtaining property by false pretense, possession stolen goods; sheriff's department.

Alvin Lee Vickers, II, three counts breaking, entering and larceny; larceny of firearm, possession stolen goods; sheriff's department.

Valerie Lynn Williams, felony possession marijuana; sheriff's department;

Larry Wayne Young, obtaining property by false pretense; sheriff's department.

Starr Young, obtaining property by false pretense, sheriff's department.

The Grand Jury meets next Monday, Jan. 14 and among cases to come before the jury is the Michael Lowery charges of assault by members of the Word of Faith Fellowship.
