Isothermal presidential candidate Dalton will meet the public today
Interviews for the six finalists being considered for the presidency of Isothermal Community College continues at 2:30 p.m. today.
Walter Dalton of Rutherfordton will meet the public and college employees in the lobby of The Foundation for a "Meet and Greet" session.
Dalton is the second candidate who has interviewed for the job held by Dr. Myra Johnson, who announced her retirement last November. Johnson plans to retire in the spring.
Dalton will have an opportunity to speak to the public and take questions from the audience.
After the brief question-and-answer period, Dalton greet those attending.
Last Thursday, Gene Couch, was the first of the six candidates to be interviewed and meet the public.
Other interviews will be Tuesday, Feb. 19, Matthew Meyer; Wednesday, Feb. 20, Mark Kinlaw; Monday, Feb. 25, Kim Gold; and Wednesday, Feb. 27, Kristi Snuggs. All sessions will be at 2:30 p.m. at The Foundation.
The public and employees will be able to make comments on the finalists in writing by emailing email@example.com
