Business Expo today at Ultimate Basement

The second annual Small Business Expo will be Saturday from 10 to 3 p.m.  at The Ultimate Basement, 241 W. Main Street in Spindale. The public is invited to the free event. 

The purpose is to bring small businesses together in one location in order to bring more awareness to all Rutherford County residents.

The Ultimate Basement is a local business where people of any age can hang out in a drug/alcohol free environment.  There are gaming systems, pool tables, areas to skateboard and many nights after 8 pm there are live bands performing from different venues. 

Businesses participating this year include: Humane Society of Rutherford County,  Nicki Barabas with DoTerra,

Becky Boone with Pampered Chef, Mary Dunn with Tupperware, Rutherford Regional Medical Center, Angie Watkins with 2 Cuties Patooties, Jim Boxerman with Jim's Leather Crafts, Forest City Owls Baseball, Making Ends Meet,  Kathy Anderson with Tastefully Simple, Kim McDonald with Simply Charms Creations,Kiss of the Sun, Jennifer Mengel with Avon, Jana Gilbert with Dancin Stars Studio, Nicole Hudson with Mary Kay,  Mistey Calderon with Beauticontrol, Redline Audio and Performance, Tuscany Italian Grille, S.C.O.R.E. of Western North Carolina, Jack's Stove Shop, Ellen Moyer with Thirty One Gifts, Bows 2 Toes, Village Coffee, MyTek Solutions, Pamela Gail Peters Fine Art,Carolina Chiropractic Plus, Marsha Daves with Scentsy,Community Pet Center, The Ultimate Basement.

There will be free blood pressure checks from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Free food samples will be provided by Tuscany, door prize drawings, exclusive offers and bake sale items will also be part of the event. 

 Donations of individually wrapped snack items, new/used video games (any game system) or rechargable batteries are being accepted which will be donated to The Ultimate Basement.
