July 4 event funding on Rutherfordton agenda

Also, the board will review and possibly adopt an ordinance regarding moving and the demolition of town buildings.

Council will hear from representatives of Rutherfordton Women's League concerning incorporating a Color Run™ in conjunction with Mayfest.

Council will also discuss placing five additional street lights in the Rutherford Towne subdivision located off U.S. 221 south of town.

Volunteers for the 225th Anniversary Committee will be recognized by Mayor Jimmy Dancy.
