Owens retains County Commission chairmanship

In an early morning meeting of the Rutherford County Commission Monday, Commissioner Julius Owens retained his chairmanship of the board.
Commission Bill Eckler was also re-elected as the Vice-Chairman of the Commission.
"I'm really looking forward to the next four years," Owens said.
The meeting began with newly-elected county officials taking their oaths of office, administered by Chief District Judge Randy Poole.
"This is a very special day in Rutherford County," Poole said.
