WESTERN NORTH CAROLINA.

PERSISTENT...MOIST UPSLOPE FLOW WILL SUPPORT THE DEVELOPMENT OF A
FEW THUNDERSTORMS THROUGH TONIGHT. THE MAIN THREAT FROM
THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE LOCALLY HEAVY RAIN AND CLOUD TO GROUND
LIGHTNING.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY.

..FRIDAY...NO HAZARDOUS WEATHER IS EXPECTED AT THIS TIME.
..SATURDAY...NO HAZARDOUS WEATHER IS EXPECTED AT THIS TIME.
..SUNDAY...FREEZING RAIN POSSIBLE. A COLD FRONT WILL BRING MUCH
COLDER AIR TO THE NORTH CAROLINA MOUNTAINS THIS WEEKEND.
TEMPERATURES ARE EXPECTED TO BECOME COLD ENOUGH TO SUPPORT A
PERIOD OF FREEZING RAIN LATE SATURDAY NIGHT AND SUNDAY MORNING
ACROSS THE CENTRAL AND NORTHERN MOUNTAINS AND THE FOOTHILLS OF
NORTH CAROLINA. LIGHT TO MODERATE ACCUMULATIONS OF ICE WILL BE
POSSIBLE.
