Six-year-old Rylan White remains a patient at Greenville Memorial Hospital where he was flown Tuesday afternoon by Regional One.

Rylan was outside playing at his Chase High Road home Tuesday while his stepfather, Jeff Bly, was cutting grass. Bly said he saw his stepson and told him to move from the area where he was cutting grass and Rylan moved away. He said he isn't sure how the accident happened.

The 911 emergency dispatcher reported a partial amputation of his arm, but according to reports, doctors were able to save him arm.

He is a first grader at Forrest Hunt Elementary School in August.
