Interviews begin Thursday for presidential hopefuls
Interviews and visits for the six finalists under consideration for the presidency of Isothermal Community College have been scheduled.
Each finalist will come to campus beginning Thursday, Feb. 7 for an interview with the Isothermal Board of Trustees. The candidates will also have an opportunity to speak with college employees and the public during a “Meet and Greet” session.
Sessions will be held at 2:30 p.m. in the lobby of The Foundation. Each will include time for the finalist to speak, followed by a brief question-and-answer period. Then, candidates will then meet and greet with those in attendance.
Session days are — Thursday, Feb. 7, Gene Couch; Tuesday, Feb. 12, Walter Dalton; Tuesday, Feb. 19, Matthew Meyer; Wednesday, Feb. 20, Mark Kinlaw; Monday, Feb. 25, Kim Gold; and Wednesday, Feb. 27, Kristi Snuggs.
The public and employees will be able to make comments on the finalists in writing by emailing presidentialsearch@isothermal.edu Anyone without access to email may hand deliver or mail comments to Isothermal Community College, attn: Human Resources Office/Presidential Search, P.O. Box 804, Spindale, NC 28160. All comments must be received by 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 28.
