ICC trustees meet today
The facilities committee will update the Isothermal Board of Trustees on several ongoing projects on campus during its regular meeting today.
One of the projects they will receive an update on will be the heating and air renovations in the library. The library was temporarily closed to the public at the end of May and will remain closed for two to three months until the project can be completed. The library staff has been relocated to Room 2 of the IT Building during this time.
The board will also take action on a President’s Blanket Travel authorization. If approved it will authorize all of the travel that Walter Dalton, president of ICC, does for college business.
The board is also set to approve a resolution honoring Rev. Dr. Milton B. Robinson for his service to the college and community. Robinson served on the board for eight years.
Trustees will also hear about a $61,000 donation that the Parker Hannifin Corporation has given to the college’s Computer Integrated Machining Program of Applied Sciences.
The trustee meeting will be held in a seminar room at The Foundation at 8:30 a.m.
