"A Christmas Chaos" among Bostic Christmas festivities Friday
The Rutherford Community Theater announces its final production of 2013, “A Christmas Chaos” by Michael Wehrli. This is a comedic take on the Dickens classic, “A Christmas Carol” which highlights all of the joys and agonies of the community theater experience.
The cast includes seasoned RCT veterans Richard Brown, Brad Davis, Bonnie Davis, Laura Thomas, Jamie Whisnant, Nicole Shaffer, Diane Hannon, James Teears, Shelby Carter, and Stephen Burgin Sr., as well as a rare appearance by RCT's Artistic Director, Les Beale. Making their debut with the RCT are D.L. Sykes, Stephen Burgin Jr., Odina Corbin, Autumn Corbin, and Emma Corbin.
The show, produced by special arrangements with Heuer Publishing, will be presented as a free performance for the community at the Bostic Christmas festivities on Friday, December 6.
Events kick off at 5:30 p.m. with the theatrical performance beginning around 6:30.
It will also be presented as dinner theater at the Green River Plantation on Friday, December 13. This performance includes a buffet style meal catered by Green River which begins at 6:30 p.m. with the play beginning at 7:30. Tickets are $25, reservations required.
