“Most Wanted Bluegrass” performing Saturday

“Most Wanted Bluegrass” will be in concert at First Wesleyan Church in Forest City at 6 p.m. Saturday September 21. The concert is free and a love offering will be received.

Band members are siblings Carley Arrowood, 16, and Autumn Arrowood, 14, of Union Mills; Tyler Dodson, 17, of Ellenboro, Isaac Ferrell, 15, of Pickens, S.C.and Paul Watson, 17, of Green Creek.  

Carley plays fiddle, sings and and is a songwriter; Autumn plays mandolin,is on vocals and is a co-songwriter; Dodson plays guitar and sings and is also a songwriter; Ferrell picks the banjo and Watson is on vocals and plays upright base.

All of the band members, except Dodson, will perform next week at the International Bluegrass Music Association (IBMA) in Raleigh. 

Musicians from all over the country will come together for two days of practice with immediate performances held Friday and Saturday, Sept. 27 and Sept. 28.

The outdoor festival is free this year. 

“Most Wanted Bluegrass” has also played at Dollywood, Red White and Bluegrass Festival, The Rex Theater in Galax Va.
