Chase to perform ‘Wilderness Bound’
The Chase High School Theater Troupe is proud to announce this season’s production, “Wilderness Bound”.
“Wilderness Bound” is the fifth original work by Chase Drama Director, J. Patrick Moss. Three of Moss’ earlier plays have been published by Big Dog publishing.
“Wilderness Bound” follows the plight of Stacey (Joelle Murray), a young woman who is mistakenly signed up for a 30-day court ordered therapy camping session in the deep woods. She joins several memorable characters on this trip: Jill, a kleptomaniac/pathological liar (Summer Woody), Liz, who is addicted to mundane things (Charity Head), Sophie, a hyperactive know it all (Marsden Murray), Mikaela, the toughest girl on site (Connie Mendoza), Agnes, a creepy goth girl (Kayla Watson), Terri, a pyromaniac with invisible squirrel friend (Nicole
Shaffer), and Phoebe, a girl who is afraid of everything (Danielle Camp). They are chaperoned by the unlikely pair of Miss Nina, a new age hippe (Mason Jones), and Officer Buchanan, a tough ex-military court ordered supervisor (Josie Dunaway).
“Wilderness Bound” will be performed at the Chase High Auditorium on Friday, May 9th at 7 p.m. The cost for the play is $10.
