Crabb to perform Friday
Grammy Award winning male vocalist Jason Crabb is coming to town.
Crabb is making his second appearance in Rutherford County on Friday. The concert is a benefit for the Matthew Pannell Shining Start Foundation which was started after Pannell died in October of 2011 of a severe coronary disease. All of the proceeds from the concert will go to supply families in need with Christmas presents.
Crabb, who has won over 17 Gospel Music Association (GMA) Dove Awards, will be at R-S Central at 7 p.m.
Crabb's latest music release, Love Is Stronger, was produced by Rascal Flatt's Jay DeMarcus, Ed Cash (Chris Tomlin) and Wayne Haun (Celine Dion) and received acclaim from Entertainment Tonight, The Associated Press, Huffington Post, Music News New York, CBS News, CCM Magazine among others.
In April, he won the GMA Dove Award for artist of the year and male vocalist of the year, the most prestigious awards of the ceremony.
