BOSTIC— Kristin Leigh Ferguson, 19, of Ellenboro was traveling east on US74B Thursday afternoon in a 2003 Pontiac when she ran off the right side of the road and struck a stranded 1995 Mazda pick-up truck that was stationary in the parking lot.
Cyclist struck by vehicle
FOREST CITY – Otis Fredrick McEntire, 63, was riding his bicycle on Oak Street at approximately 7 p.m. when he told Forest City officers he was struck by a vehicle.

SPINDALE — A child was treated Rutherford Regional Medical Center after a two car bump-up on US74A Tuesday near the entrance to Isothermal Community College.

FOREST CITY — A vendor who was burned last Saturday morning at the Forest City Flea Market is home from the Burn Center in Augusta, Ga. for a few days but will return next week for surgery.

FOREST CITY — Spencer Leon Simpson, 29, Abrams/Moore Road of Rutherfordton is being held in the Rutherford County Detention Facility under a $100,000 bond after an arrest Monday.

FOREST CITY — Randolph Nalley, Jr. is listed in good condition at the burn center at Doctors Hospital in Augusta, Ga. after he sustained burns Saturday morning while working at the Forest City Flea Market.
