Rutherford County Sheriff's Department was dispatched to 153 calls on Monday; Forest City police had 82 calls; Rutherfordton police was dispatched to 27 calls; Spindale had 20 calls; Lake Lure had 2 calls; Rutherford County EMS responded to 66 calls and Rescue had 15 calls.

Fire Calls

Forest City Fire Department was dispatched to a brush fire; Rutherfordton firefighters responded to a motor vehicle accident and a brush fire; Sandy Mush Fire Department was called to a brush fire and a power line fire; Shingle Hollow firefighters were dispatched to a woods fire.

Arrests

Ashley Nicole Bailey, 22, Autumn Lane in Spindale, was charged with failure to appear on operating a vehicle with no insurance, failure to appear on failure to apply for a new title, failure to appear on driving while license revoked and failure to appear on altered title/registration card/tag; $3,000 bond.
Bart Lee Bazzle, 27, East Circle Drive in Shelby, was charged with failure to appear on operating a vehicle with no insurance; $500 bond.
Joey Dennis Burgess, 54, Radford Road in Ellenboro, was charged with three counts simple possession of a controlled substance, felony possession of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance with intent to manufacture, sell or deliver; $20,000 bond.
Jeremy Scott Coffee, 28, Cleghorn Mill Road in Rutherfordton, was charged with assault and battery and injury to personal property; $3,000 unsecured bond.

Michael David Thompson, 30, Coopers Gap Road in Mill Spring, was charged with assault on a female, injury to personal property, injury to real property and communicating threats; $3,000 unsecured bond.
Steven Warren Thompson, 57, Cleghorn Mill Road in Rutherfordton, was charged with assault and battery, assault with a deadly weapon and injury to personal property; $3,000 unsecured bond.
Alexis Queen Warner, 20, Oakland Road in Forest City, was charged with driving while license revoked; $1,000 bond.
