911 Calls

Rutherford County Sheriff's Department was dispatched to 330 calls over the weekend; Forest City police had 175 calls; Rutherfordton police was dispatched to 52 calls; Spindale had 64 calls; Lake Lure had 64 calls; Rutherford County EMS responded to 101 calls and Rescue had 39 calls.

Fire Calls

Cliffside Fire Department was dispatched to a motor vehicle accident; Ellenboro firefighters responded to two motor vehicle accidents; Forest City Fire Rescue was called to a motor vehicle accident and a fire alarm; Rutherfordton firefighters were dispatched to a power line fire; SDO Fire Department responded to a motor vehicle accident; Spindale firefighters were called to a vehicle fire.

Arrests

Feliciano Ruiz Blanco, 45, South Cumberland Street in Morristown, Tenn., was charged with simple possession of a controlled substance; $500 bond.
Jeremy Lee Brown, 31, Mountain View Street in Forest City, was charged with assault on a female; $1,000 bond.
Floyd Wayne Brown, 52, Blackwell Road in Hendersonville, was charged with failure to appear on driving while impaired and failure to appear on failure to pay monies; $500 bond.
Ervin Tony Bryant, 53, Pine Street in Forest City, was charged with failure to appear on speeding, three counts failure to appear on driving while license revoked, three counts failure to appear on misdemeanor charges, two counts failure to appear on operating a vehicle with no insurance, failure to appear on giving/lending/borrowing a license plate, failure to appear on fictitious/altered registration card or tag, failure to appear on driving/allowing a motor vehicle with no registration, failure to appear on possession of drug paraphernalia and failure to appear on possession of a controlled substance; $12,000 bond.
