911 Calls

Rutherford County Sheriff's Department was dispatched to 106 calls on Thursday; Forest City police had 63 calls; Rutherfordton police was dispatched to 36 calls; Spindale had 31 calls; Lake Lure had 6 calls; Rutherford County EMS responded to 30 calls and Rescue had 29 calls.

Fire Calls

Ellenboro firefighters were dispatched to a woods fire; Forest City Fire Department responded to a control burn; SDO firefighters were dispatched to a vehicle fire.

Arrests

Albert Alexander Austin, 31, Poors Ford Road in Rutherfordton, was charged with failure to comply on child support; $1,110 bond.
Julie Marie Givens, 34, Hill Street in Henrietta, was charged with misdemeanor larceny; $1,000 unsecured bond.
Brandon Tyler Godfrey, 21, Hawthorne Lane in Forest City, was charged with driving while impaired and expired registration card/tag; $1,000 unsecured bond.
Brandon Marquis Hamilton, 27, Wells Drive in Forest City, was charged with misdemeanor probation violation; $5,000 bond.
Katie Elizabeth Jones, 20, Pennsylvania Avenue in Spindale, was charged with misdemeanor larceny; $1,000 unsecured bond.
Kenneth Ray Melton, 51, Middle Street in Caroleen, was charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver and felony probation violation; $5,000 bond.
Dominic Marquis Mills, 16, Florida Avenue in Spindale, was charged with assault to inflict serious injury, disorderly conduct at a school, and misdemeanor conspiracy; custody release.
Kyle Kevin Whitley, 26, Whiteside Road in Rutherfordton, was charged with misdemeanor larceny; $10,000 bond.
Reginald Keith Wood, 36, Short Road in Ellenboro, was charged with giving false report to a police station and making a harassing phone call; $1,500 bond.
