Rutherford County Sheriff's Department was dispatched to 184 calls on Wednesday; Forest City police had 96 calls; Rutherfordton police was dispatched to 27 calls; Spindale had 28 calls; Lake Lure had 1 call; Rutherford County EMS responded to 41 calls and Rescue had 34 calls.

Fire Calls

Cherry Mountain Fire Department was dispatched to a structure fire; Forest City firefighters responded to a motor vehicle accident and an industrial fire alarm; Rutherfordton Fire Department was called to an industrial fire alarm.
