Rutherford County Sheriff's Department was dispatched to 154 calls on Wednesday; Forest City police had 54 calls; Rutherfordton police was dispatched to 37 calls; Spindale had 52 calls; Lake Lure had 13 calls; Rutherford County EMS responded to 86 calls and Rescue had 54 calls.

Fire Calls

Bills Creek Fire Department was dispatched to a motor vehicle accident; Bostic firefighters responded to a grass fire; Cliffside Fire Department was called to a motor vehicle accident; Forest City firefighters were dispatched to a motor vehicle accident; Rutherfordton Fire Department responded to a fire alarm; Spindale firefighters were called to a smoke report and a motor vehicle accident.

Arrests

Blair Reid Anderson, 30, Harrill Dairy Road in Forest City, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia; written promise to appear.
Jessica Lynn Brown, 31, Patches Lane in Bostic, was charged with simple possession of a controlled substance; $5,000 unsecured bond.
Randall Kevin Carswell, 40, Reid Street in Forest City, was charged with soliciting arms/begging for money; $1,500 bond.
Kandi West Chapman, 35, Walker Mill Road in Bostic, was charged with communicating threats; written promise to appear.
Robert Paul Gerwig, 17, York Street in Mooresboro, was charged with disorderly conduct at school; $500 bond.
Nancy Marie Googe, 31, Burgundy Place in Rutherfordton, was charged with failure to appear with driving while license revoked and failure to appear on misdemeanor charges; $800 bond.
Ronnie Dean Hawkins, 37, Scoggins Road in Rutherfordton, was charged with extradition of fugitive to other state; $15,000 bond.
Shelina Queen Humphries, 40, South Pea Ridge Road in Mooresboro, was charged with failure to appear on false report to a police station; $3,000 bond.
