911 Calls

Rutherford County Sheriff's Department was dispatched to 156 calls on Tuesday; Forest City police had 71 calls; Rutherfordton police was dispatched to 21 calls; Spindale had 24 calls; Lake Lure had 10 calls; Rutherford County EMS responded to 63 calls and Rescue had 41 calls.

Fire Calls

Bostic Fire Department was dispatched to a carbon monoxide leak; Ellenboro firefighters responded to a grass fire; Forest City Fire Department was called to a structure fire; Rutherfordton firefighters were dispatched to a residential fire alarm; Spindale Fire Department responded to an illegal burn.

Arrests

Prieor Franklin Childers, 44, Parkwood Drive in Shelby, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, open container after consuming alcohol, no operator's license and possession of marijuana; $2,000 bond.
Robert Lee Fish, 33, Overlook Avenue in Forest City, was charged with misdemeanor child abuse; $3,000 bond.
Angela Marie Humphreys, 43, Autumn Lane in Spindale, was charged with misdemeanor probation violation; $10,000 bond.
Brent Stephen Stafford, 33, Vermillion Estate in Pontiac, Ill., was charged with failure to comply; $200 bond.
Tonya Lynn Tesseneer, 36, Hardin Road in Forest City, was charged with permitting operation of a vehicle with no insurance, cancelled/revoked/suspended certificate or tag, failure to wear a seat belt and allowing an unlicensed person to drive; $2,000 bond.
