Rutherford County Sheriff's Department was dispatched to 179 calls on Wednesday; Forest City police had 111 calls; Rutherfordton police was dispatched to 25 calls; Spindale had 31 calls; Lake Lure had 4 calls; Rutherford County EMS responded to 44 calls and Rescue had 18 calls.
Hudlow Fire Department was dispatched to a downed power line; Lake Lure firefighters responded to a woods fire; SDO Fire Department was called to an industrial fire alarm, a carbon monoxide leak and a brush fire.
Thomas Jordan Brooks, 20, Pate Road in Forest City, was charged with misdemeanor probation violation out of county; $15,000 bond.
Amy Michelle Conner, 34, Dixie Mountain Trail in Lake Lure, was charged with felony breaking and entering, larceny after breaking and entering, obtaining property by false pretense and unlawfully obtaining a credit card; $6,000 bond.
