Rutherford County Sheriff's Department was dispatched to 357 calls over the weekend; Forest City police had 204 calls; Rutherfordton police was dispatched to 35 calls; Spindale had 53 calls; Lake Lure had 29 calls; Rutherford County EMS responded to 154 calls and Rescue had 39 calls.

Fire Calls

Cliffside Fire Department was dispatched to two motor vehicle accidents; Ellenboro firefighters responded to a motor vehicle accident and a smoke report; Forest City Fire Department was called to three motor vehicle accidents and a fire alarm; Hudlow firefighters were dispatched to two fire alarms and a motor vehicle accident; Lake Lure Fire Department responded to a fire alarm; Rutherfordton firefighters were called to a motor vehicle accident; Sandy Mush Fire Department was dispatched to a motor vehicle accident; SDO firefighters responded to a motor vehicle accident; Spindale Fire Department was called to a motor vehicle accident and a house fire; Union Mills firefighters were dispatched to a house fire.
