911 Calls

Rutherford County Sheriff's Department was dispatched to 153 calls on Monday; Forest City police had 99 calls; Rutherfordton police was dispatched to 39 calls; Spindale had 41 calls; Lake Lure had 8 calls; Rutherford County EMS responded to 49 calls and Rescue had 34 calls.

Fire Calls

Bostic Fire Department was dispatched to investigate a smoke report; Ellenboro firefighters responded to a motor vehicle accident; Forest City Fire Department was called to a motor vehicle accident; SDO firefighters were dispatched to a power line fire; Sandy Mush firefighters responded to a motor vehicle accident.

Arrests

Kasey Ray Alley, 22, Carolina Avenue in Forest City, was charged with larceny by an employee; $50,000 unsecured bond.
Damien Michal Bond, 25, Old Castle Lane in Forest City, was charged with assault on a female and simple possession of a controlled substance; $2,500 bond.
