911 Calls

Rutherford County Sheriff's Department was dispatched to 124 calls on Tuesday; Forest City police had 103 calls; Rutherfordton police was dispatched to 43 calls; Spindale had 13 calls; Lake Lure had 8 calls; Rutherford County EMS responded to 24 calls and Rescue had 32 calls.

Fire Calls

Ellenboro Fire Department was dispatched to an electrical fire, a motor vehicle accident and a downed tree; Forest City firefighters responded to a gas leak; Hudlow Fire Department was called to a downed tree; Lake Lure firefighters were dispatched to a downed power line; SDO firefighters responded to a downed tree.


Jackelyn Francis Abril, 28, Old Caroleen Road in Forest City, was charged with failure to appear on driving while license revoked; $5,000 bond.

William Douglas Baynard, 28, U.S. Highway 74 Business in Ellenboro, was charged with failure to appear on injury to real property, failure to appear on second-degree trespassing, failure to appear on communicating threats, misdemeanor probation violation and failure to appear on misdemeanor probation violation; $30,000 bond.

Phillip Brad Dobbins, 35, Hawthorne Lane in Forest City, was charged with two counts true bill on trafficking opium or heroin and true bill on maintaining a vehicle/dwelling/place for controlled substances; $15,000 bond.

Julie Marie Givens, 34, Hill Street in Henrietta, was charged with two counts obtaining property by false pretense and two counts common law uttering; $8,000 bond.

Erwin Jamaal Hamilton, 30, Country Haven Road in Mayo, S.C., was charged with no operator's license; $500 bond.

Pamela Lynn Lovelace, 27, Forest Street in Forest City, was charged with three counts felony probation violation and two counts misdemeanor probation violation; $80,000 bond.

James Matthew Ridgewell, 21, U.S. Highway 64 in Rutherfordton, was charged with probation violation; no bond listed.
