Rutherford County Sheriff's Department was dispatched to 131 calls on Monday; Forest City police had 98 calls; Rutherfordton police was dispatched to 25 calls; Spindale had 27 calls; Lake Lure had 9 calls; Rutherford County EMS responded to 66 calls and Rescue had 45 calls.

Fire Calls

Bostic Fire Department was dispatched to a motor vehicle accident; Forest City firefighters responded to a motor vehicle accident and a vehicle fire; Shingle Hollow Fire Department was called to a motor vehicle accident; Spindale firefighters were dispatched to an appliance fire.

Arrests

Jeffrey Ray Fowler, 55, Thoroughbred Circle in Arden, was charged with failure to appear on domestic violence protective order violation; $25,000 bond.

Nathan Thomas Harrill, 31, U.S. Highway 221-A in Forest City, was charged with failure to appear on resisting a public officer; $500 bond.

Ethan Wade Landis, 20, Center Street in Spindale, was charged with failure to appear on possession of marijuana, failure to appear on possession of drug paraphernalia and failure to appear on misdemeanor probation violation; $500 bond.

Kella Leigh Melton, 28, Harrill Dairy Road in Forest City, was charged with obtaining property by false pretense and possession of stolen goods; $20,000 unsecured bond.

Martiece Taequan Sanford, 17, Big Springs Avenue in Forest City, was charged with larceny of a firearm; $5,000 bond.

Noelia Mercedes Taveras, 27, Smith Street in Forest City, was charged with failure to appear on speeding and failure to appear on no operator's license; $500 bond.
