Rutherford County Sheriff's Department was dispatched to 129 calls on Wednesday; Forest City police had 94 calls; Rutherfordton police was dispatched to 20 calls; Spindale had 19 calls; Lake Lure had 5 calls; Rutherford County EMS responded to 46 calls and Rescue had 10 calls.
Forest City Fire Department was dispatched to an appliance fire; Rutherfordton firefighters responded to two motor vehicle accidents; Spindale Fire Department was called to a motor vehicle accident.
Michael Don Bolden, 45, Franklin Drive in Forest City, was charged with misdemeanor larceny; $5,000 unsecured bond.
Brian Keith Brown, 32, Bostic Sunshine Highway in Bostic, was charged with felony possession of cocaine; $10,000 bond.
Phillip Brad Dobbins, 35, Hawthorne Lane in Forest City, was charged with four counts felony probation violation, two counts true bill on trafficking opium or heroin, true bill on possession of a controlled substance with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver and true bill on maintaining a vehicle/dwelling/place for a controlled substance; $70,000 bond.
