Rutherford County Sheriff's Department was dispatched to 125 calls on Friday; Forest City police had 82 calls; Rutherfordton police was dispatched to 23 calls; Spindale had 22 calls; Lake Lure had 3 calls; Rutherford County EMS responded to 47 calls and Rescue had 44 calls.
Cherry Mountain Fire Department was dispatched to a brush fire; Ellenboro firefighters responded to a brush fire; Hudlow Fire Department was called to a brush fire; Sandy Mush firefighters were dispatched to a smoke report.
Patricia Cash Balleza, 41, Old Ball Park Road in Spindale, was charged with driving while impaired; $1,000 unsecured bond.
William Lee Cash, 34, Ledbetter Road in Spindale, was charged with larceny of a motor vehicle and possession of a stolen motor vehicle; $10,000 bond.
