911 Calls

Rutherford County Sheriff's Department was dispatched to 123 calls on Wednesday; Forest City police had 81 calls; Rutherfordton police was dispatched to 36 calls; Spindale had 24 calls; Lake Lure had 16 calls; Rutherford County EMS responded to 33 calls and Rescue had 31 calls.

Fire Calls

Cherry Mountain Fire Department was dispatched to a smoke report; Cliffside firefighters responded to a brush fire and an illegal burn; Ellenboro Fire Department was called to a brush fire; Forest City firefighters were dispatched to an industrial fire alarm; Sandy Mush Fire Department responded to a brush fire.

Arrests

Joshua Lee Arrowood, 24, Hillbrook Drive in Bostic, was charged with assault on a female; $1,000 unsecured bond.

Joseph Wright Bradley, 39, Springfield Drive in Forest City, was charged with communicating threats; $1,500 bond.

Douglas Blake Cheeseman, 25, Big Springs Avenue in Forest City, was charged with failure to appear on resisting a public officer and failure to appear on assault on a government official/employee; $10,000 bond.

Brett Ryan Davidson, 18, Main Street in Ellenboro, was charged with misdemeanor probation violation; bond amount unlisted.

David Shane Jennings, 34, Cove Creek Drive in Rutherfordton, was charged with cyberstalking and communicating threats; written promise to appear.

John Luther Littlejohn, 36, Wintergreen Drive in Ellenboro, was charged with two counts failure to comply with non-support of a child and failure to register as a sex offender; $10,625 bond.
