911 Calls

Rutherford County Sheriff's Department was dispatched to 261 calls over the weekend; Forest City police had 155 calls; Rutherfordton police was dispatched to 49 calls; Spindale had 44 calls; Lake Lure had 16 calls; Rutherford County EMS responded to 74 calls and Rescue had 83 calls.

Fire Calls

Chimney Rock Fire Department was dispatched to a residential fire alarm; Cliffside firefighters responded to a house fire and a woods fire; Ellenboro Fire Department was called to a motor vehicle accident; Green Hill firefighters were dispatched to a control burn, a motor vehicle fire and a woods fire; Rutherfordton Fire Department responded to a brush fire; SDO firefighters were called to a brush fire and a woods fire; Spindale Fire Department was dispatched to an explosion.

Arrests

Andrew William Allan, 20, South Church Street in Forest City, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance and possession of alcohol underage; custody release.

Christopher James Anderson, 19, Middle Street in Caroleen, was charged with possession of alcohol underage; written promise to appear.

Angela Elizabeth Dickey, 24, Matthew Church Road in Rutherfordton, was charged with driving while license revoked and failure to appear on driving while license revoked; $5,500 bond.

Jackie Wyman Dobbins, 53, McBrayer Court in Forest City, was charged with domestic violence protective order violation; $5,000 unsecured bond.

James Bruce Earley, 55, Freeman Road in Forest City, was charged with driving while impaired, possession of an open container/consumption of alcohol in a passenger area and operating a vehicle with no insurance/expired registration card or tag; written promise to appear.

Dustin Allen Girdler, 29, Bethany Church Road in Forest City, was charged with failure to appear on communicating threats, two counts felony probation out of county and larceny of a motor vehicle; $73,000 bond.
