Rutherford County Sheriff's Department was dispatched to 164 calls on Tuesday; Forest City police had 101 calls; Rutherfordton police was dispatched to 35 calls; Spindale had 31 calls; Lake Lure had 3 calls; Rutherford County EMS responded to 47 calls and Rescue had 4 calls.
Forest City Fire Rescue was dispatched to an industrial fire alarm; Green Hill firefighters responded to a motor vehicle accident; Rutherfordton Fire Rescue was called to a vehicle fire; Sandy Mush firefighters were dispatched to a brush fire; SDO Fire Department responded to a motor vehicle accident; Spindale firefighters were called to a vehicle fire.
Kimberly Dawn Barnes, 41, South Patterson Street in Shelby, was charged with failure to appear on felony probation violation, failure to appear on fleeing to elude arrest with a motor vehicle, felony probation violation, failure to appear on driving while license revoked, failure to appear on failure to stop at a stop sign/flashing red light, operating a vehicle with no insurance, failure to appear on driving left of center, failure to appear on fictitious/altered title/registration card/tag and failure to appear on misdemeanor charges; $76,000 bond.
