Rutherford County Sheriff's Department was dispatched to 117 calls on Thursday; Forest City police had 79 calls; Rutherfordton police was dispatched to 11 calls; Spindale had 25 calls; Lake Lure had 8 calls; Rutherford County EMS responded to 44 calls and Rescue had 16 calls.

Fire Calls

Forest City Fire Department was dispatched to a smoke report and an industrial fire alarm.

Arrests

Casey Emmanuel Briggs, 24, Poors Ford Road in Rutherfordton, was charged wit felony breaking and entering, larceny after breaking and entering and obtaining property by false pretense; $5,000 bond.

Christopher Chad Gibert, 23, Aqua Drive in Forest City, was charged with failure to appear on reckless driving - wanton disregard; $500 bond.

Nathaniel Emerson Gleaves, 32, North Meridian ___ in Rutherfordton, was charged with two counts misdemeanor probation violation, simple possession of a controlled substance, resisting a public officer and possession of an open container/consumption of alcohol in a passenger area; $28,000 bond.

Jason Marshawn Murray, 24, Harmon Street in Forest City, was charged with resisting a public officer, disorderly conduct and breach of peace; $6,000 bond.

Carl Mackey Shelton, 70, Harmon Street in Forest City, was charged with intoxicated and disruptive behavior; $1,000 unsecured bond.
