Rutherford County Sheriff's Department was dispatched to 130 calls on Wednesday; Forest City police had 96 calls; Rutherfordton police was dispatched to 35 calls; Spindale had 24 calls; Lake Lure had 1 call; Rutherford County EMS responded to 39 calls and Rescue had 21 calls.

Fire Calls

Cherry Mountain Fire Department was dispatched to a carbon monoxide leak; Hudlow firefighters responded to a residential fire alarm; Rutherfordton Fire Rescue was called to a motor vehicle accident and a smoke report; SDO firefighters were dispatched to a residential fire alarm.

Arrests

Spencer Brian Blanton, 33, Casey Drive in Rutherfordton, was charged with misdemeanor larceny; $1,500 bond.
Terry Wayne Dawson, 46, Campfield Church Road in Ellenboro, was charged with driving while license revoked; $1,000 bond.
Kenneth Hugh Humphries Jr., 38, Crowe Dairy Road in Forest City, was charged with driving while license revoked and window tinting violation; $500 bond.
Jeffrey Scott Rhodes, 45, Tillman Drive in Stanley, was charged with failure to appear on misdemeanor possession/consumption of beer or wine on unauthorized premises, failure to appear on misdemeanor simple possession of a controlled substance and failure to appear on misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance; $20,000 bond.
Gabriel Torrez Robinson, 17, Ann Robertson Drive in Forest City, was charged with disorderly conduct at school; custody release.
Harrill Lamont Ruff, 34, Broad Street in Shelby, was charged with failure to appear on driving while license revoked and failure to appear on misdemeanor charges; $2,500 bond.
Paula Joe Stafford, 26, Coopers Gap Road in Rutherfordton, was charged with two counts felony probation violation; $60,000 bond.
