911 Calls

Rutherford County Sheriff's Dept. responded to 138 calls on Wednesday; Forest City police had 49 calls; Rutherfordton had 14 calls; Spindale was dispatched to 27 calls and Lake Lure had one call; Rutherford County EMS had 52 calls and Rescye had 46 calls.

Fire Calls

 

Hudlow, Rutherfordton and Sandy Mush Fire Departments responded to fire alarms. Rutherfordton Fire Department responded to a motor vehicle crash.

Arrests

Christopher Allen Carroll, 21, of Old 221 Hwy in Rutherfordton was charged with failure to appear reckless driving to endanger; $500 bond.

Vicki Lavon Childers, 40, of East High Road in Bostic was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and resisting a public officer; $1,000 bond.

Andrew Neal Mathis, 20, of Maryhill Drive in Ellenboro was charged with failure to appear on misdemeanor probation violation; $5,000 bond.

Patty Sue McClure, 47, of East Main Street in Forest City was charged with three counts of forgery of endorsement, three counts of obtaining property by false pretenses, three counts of uttering forged endorsement and misdemeanor larceny; $46,000 bond. 

Micheal Eli Toney, 18, of Brookemont Avenue in Forest City was charged with assault and battery and assault with a deadly weapon; $5,000 bond. 

Zechariah Logan Westfield, 22, of Mason Street in Monroe was charged with three counts of failure to appear on a misdemeanor, 10 counts of failure to appear on simple worthless check and five counts of simple worthless check; $179,000 bond. 

George Charles Yelton, 71, of Hwy 64 in Rutherfordton was charged with carrying a concealed gun; $500 bond. 

Incidents

An employee from the Drop In #3 in Forest City reported an incident of larceny.

Sara Owens, of East Main St. in Forest City, reported an incident of larceny and forgery.

An employee from BB&T Bank in Forest City reported two incidents of obtaining property by false pretenses.

An employee from BB&T Bank in Forest City reported an incident of attempt to obtain property by false pretense.
