911 Calls

Rutherford County Sheriff's Dept. responded to 168 calls Monday; Forest City police had 65 calls; Rutherfordton police had 29 calls; Spindale was dispatched to 38 police calls and Lake Lure had 14 calls; Rutherford County EMS responded to 37 calls and Rescue had 27 calls.

Fire Calls

Forest City firefighters responded to an electrical problem in a house; Rutherfordton firefighters were dispatched to an industrial fire alarm and SDO was dispatched to a brush fire with Spindale and NC Forest Service assisting them.

Arrests

Timothy Dewayne Cole, 36, of Clyde Street in Spindale, was arrested for two counts misdemeanor larceny and possession methamphetamine; $30,000 bond.

Elvis Antonio Davila, 37, Thermal Drive in Forest City was charged with driving while impaired; $1,000 unsecured bond.

Christopher Milhous Fisher, 18, N. Washington Street in Rutherfordton; charged with consuming alcohol under age; failure to appear on consuming alcohol under age; and violation of conditions of release; $6,000 bond.

Ricahrd Zeke Freeman, 21, Martin Street in Bostic, two counts of aid and abet larceny; possession drug paraphernalia; $10,000 bond. 

Michael Wayne Galdden, 48, Ohio Street in Spindale, failure to appear on failure to notify DMV of address change; operate vehicle no insurance, fict/alt/title registration card, tag; $1,000 bond.

Christopher Todd Greene, 23, Buck Collins Road in Forest City, charged with driving while impaired; failure to comply license restrictions and assault, serious injury; $2,000 bond.

Richard Samuael Hord, 37, Oak Road Church Road in Lawndale, driving while impaired; $1,000 bond.

Benjamin Donald Kennedy, 21, Duke Street in Forest City, resisting public officer; $5,000 bond.

Greta Jean Phillips Lockett, 43,Farmside Drive in Forest City, charged with larceny by employee; $1,000 bond.

Andrew Trey McArthur, 16, Shepherds Creek Circle in Rutherfordton, consuming alcohol under age; custody release.

Kenneth Ray Owens, 50, Gene Davis Road in Ellenboro, charged with manufacture marijuana; $15,000 unsecured.

Marque James-Cornell Phillips,20, Wood Hill Drive in Shelby, arrested on true bills of indictment: two counts breaking and entering; two counts larceny after breaking and entering, possession stolen goods/property and obtaining property by false pretense; $45,000 bond.

Rebekah Grace Simmons,27, Nehemiah in Forest City was charged with assault with deadly weapon, breaking or entering, misdemeanor; domestic criminal trespass; secured bond.

Gregory Scott Sisk, 49, Old US 74 Hwy. in Bostic, charged with assault with deadly weapon; $5,000 bond.
