Rutherford County Sheriff's Department was dispatched to 78 calls on Monday; Forest City police had 47 calls; Rutherfordton police was dispatched to 23 calls; Spindale had 10 calls; Lake Lure had 3 calls; Rutherford County EMS responded to 31 calls and Rescue had 15 calls.

Fire Calls

Bostic Fire Department was dispatched to a motor vehicle accident; Cherry Mountain firefighters responded to a motor vehicle accident; Forest City Fire Rescue was called to a motor vehicle accident; Sandy Mush firefighters were dispatched to a woods fire.

Rodney Gene Owens, 24, Academy Street in Cliffside, was charged with failure to appear on felony possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia; $10,000 bond.
Jason Wayne Parks, 30, Delmar Avenue in Bostic, was charged with injury to personal property, two counts assault on a female and two counts communicating threats; $500 unsecured bond.
James William Shelton, 27, U.S. Highway 221A in Forest City, was charged with felony larceny by employee; $3,000 bond.
