911 Calls

Rutherford County Sheriff's Dept. responded to 108 calls on Tuesday; Forest City police had 59 calls; Rutherfordton police had 23 calls; Spindale was dispatched to 39 calls and Lake Lure had 3 calls. EMS responded to 29 calls and Rescue had 21 calls. 

 

Fire Calls

Ellenboro Fire Department responded to a vehicle accident. Rutherfordton Fire Department responded to an appliance fire and Sandy Mush Fire Department responded to a grass fire.

 

Arrests

Racheal Ellen Cain, 40, of East Oak Hill CT in Flatrock was charged with failure to appear on possession of methamphetamine, failure to appear on simple possession SCH II CS, failure to appear on simple possession SCH IV CS, failure to appear on simple possession SCH VI CS and failure to appear on possession of drug paraphernalia; $23,000 bond. 

Daniel Harvey Campbell, 36, of US 64 Hwy in Rutherfordton was charged with second degree trespassing, communicating threats and assault and battery; $5,000 bond. 

Telly Lee Clark, 36, of Whitesides Road in Bostic was charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia; $20,000 bond.

Donald Lee Jackson, 41, of Sunshine Lake Road in Ellenboro was charged with trafficking opium or heroin and PWIMSD SCH IV controlled substance; $20,000 bond. 

David Shane Jennings, 33, of West Main Street in Forest City was charged with misdemeanor probation violation; $8,000 bond. 

Joy Hill Mayse, 30, of Whiteside Road in Rutherfordton was charged with maintaining VEH/DWELL /Place, simple possession Schedule IV Controlled Substance, PWIMSD Methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia; $40,000 bond. 

Mary Christina McClain, 33, of Halsey Trail in Bostic was charged with second degree trespassing; $5,000 bond. 

Casey Carlton Whitesides, 22, of Hines Road in Mooresboro was charged with FTC-UPV/$475, driving while license revoked and operate a vehicle with no insurance; $2,500 bond. 

 

Incidents

Kimberly Price reported an incident of an overdose that occurred on Arlington St. in Forest City.
