RUTHERFORD COUNTY —
Rutherford County Sheriff's Dept. responded to 155 calls on Thursday; Forest City police had 52 calls; Rutherfordton police had 18 calls; Spindale was dispatched to 36 police calls; Lake Lure responded to four calls; EMS responded to 25 calls and Rescue had 44calls.
Cherry Mountain responded to an appliance fire; Cliffside had an electrical fire call; Lake Lure firefighters responded to a vehicle accident; Rutherfordton was dispatched to a carbon monoxide leak; Shingle Hollow had a chimney fire; and Spindale had a fire investigation call.
Gregory Clark Alley, 38, Edwards Street Extension, was charged with driving while impaired; $2,000 bond.
Rebecca Sue Bailey, 39, McCraw Road in Henrietta was charged with possession drug paraphernalia, possession stolen goods, misdemeanor larceny; two counts financial card theft; $13,000 bond.
Kevin Scott Davis,49, Maple Creek Road in Rutherfordton was charged with financial card fraud; $1,000 bond.
Robin Brian Frady, 38, Ferry Road in Mooresboro was charged with felony probation violation; $20,000 bond.
Bobby Dean Howard, 36, Old Ross Road in Forest City, was charged with flee/elude arrest with motor vehicle, failure to appear on two counts assault by strangulation,communicating threats; driving while license revoked, reckless driving, domestic violence protective order violation and assault on a female; $39,000 bond.
Randy Bashawn Littlejohn, 37,Gold Medallion Street in Bostic, was charged with felony probation violation out of county; $10,000 bond.
Chad Lee Short, 37, of Seaboard Road in Ellenboro was charged with failure to appear on several charges — driving while license revoked, reckless driving to endanger, assault on female, resisting public officer,misdemeanor larceny, simple assault, unauthorized use of motor vehicle and misdemeanor larceny $75,000 unsecured bond.
Pablo Antonio Reyes Torrez, 33, of MD Blanton Road in Forest City was charged with child abuse; $1,000 bond.
Rodney Neal Bridges, 42, College Farm in Shelby was charged with violation of protective order and driving while license revoked; placed under a 48-hour hold.
April Wood of Bostic reported a larceny.
Terry Short, Sr. of Mooresboro reported an identity theft.
Donald J. Culjack of Mooresboro reported a vandalism.
Premier Federal Credit Union of Forest City reported obtaining property by false pretense.
Michael Leazer of Rutherfordton reported a larceny.
Mayse Manufacturing of Forest City reported a breaking and entering, vandalism.
Earl Hannon of Candler reported a breaking and entering and larceny.
Ray Van Dyke of Bostic reported a breaking, entering and larceny.
An employee of Henson Building Materials reported a breaking, entering, safecracking and larceny.
Kimberly Price of Forest City reported an overdose.
Leslie Jean Bridges of Forest City reported an incident of violation of protective order.
An officer of Forest City Police Dept. reported a hit and run; officer reported someone hit the yield sign at the intersection of East Main and Depot streets.
