Rutherford County Sheriff's Department was dispatched to 133 calls on Tuesday; Forest City police had 60 calls; Rutherfordton police was dispatched to 54 calls; Spindale had 53 calls; Lake Lure had 7 calls; Rutherford County EMS responded to 39 calls and Rescue had 47 calls.
Chimney Rock Fire Department was dispatched to a smoke report; Green Hill firefighters responded to a motor vehicle accident; Hudlow firefighters were dispatched to a motor vehicle accident and a grass fire; Rutherfordton Fire Department responded to a motor vehicle accident.
Curtis Norman Deese, 44, U.S. 221-A in Forest City, was charged with felony possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia; $15,000 unsecured bond.
Shannon Lorine Dysart, 38, High Shoals Church Road in Mooresboro, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia; $5,000 bond.
Cornelius Isaiah Edgerton, 44, Winchester Drive in Ellenboro, was charged with failure to appear on felony/habitual impaired driving; $25,000 bond.
Joy Amber Kimbrell, 34, Blueberry Hill in Bostic, was charged with failure to appear on driving while impaired and failure to appear on simple possession of a controlled substance; $10,000 bond.
Brandon Eric Martin, 26, Worth Lane in Rutherfordton, was charged with speeding and driving while license revoked; $2,000 bond.
Joshua Matthew McCombs, 25, Painters Gap Road in Union Mills, was charged with failure to appear on possession of marijuana; $500 bond.
Jermaine O'neal Sanders, 32, Court Street in Rutherfordton, was charged with misdemeanor larceny and injury to personal property; written promise to appear.
