Rutherford County Sheriff's Department was dispatched to 138 calls on Wednesday; Forest City police had 78 calls; Rutherfordton police was dispatched to 33 calls; Spindale had 34 calls; Lake Lure had 5 calls; Rutherford County EMS responded to 34 calls and Rescue had 28 calls.
Forest City Fire Department was dispatched to a motor vehicle accident; Rutherfordton firefighters responded to two separate events including a motor vehicle accident and a gas leak; SDO firefighters were dispatched to investigate a residential fire alarm; Union Mills Fire Department responded to a motor vehicle accident.
William Douglas Baynard, 28, Saint John Zion Road in Rutherfordton, was charged with misdemeanor probation violation; $5,000 bond.
Kevin Lamar Bristol, 39, Gladys Road in Forest City, was charged with felony probation violation; $20,000 bond.
James Eugene Curtis, 36, Robinson Creek Road in Bostic, was charged with trafficking methamphetamine, simple possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia; $31,000 bond.
Porfirio Moreno Dominguez, 23, West Tyger Court in Greer, was charged with speeding and two counts failure to appear on having no operator's license; $600 bond.
Marcus Lee Moore, 25, Ector Street in Asheville, was charged with driving while impaired and driving while license revoked; $2,000 unsecured bond.
Matthew Gilbert Ramsey, 25, Alex Drive in Rutherfordton, was charged with four counts possession of stolen goods and two counts obtaining property by false pretense; $15,000 bond.
William Ivey Smith, 46, Edwards Street in Rutherfodton, was charged with failure to appear on driving while license revoked; $2,000 bond.
